The weather forecast was full of the promise of rain and none of us fancied dinghy cruising in a downpour so many repaired to the café for coffee and some did ‘camp admin’.
About 15:00 it was meant to get sunny and we had good plans suggested by Simon to take a short sail to Doom Corner and anchor up to enjoy the peace and nature, but 15:00 came and the weather was not great so we watched nature from the campsite.
The sun did come out about 16:00 and Rob and Alan, Steve and Ged took to Trios to practice spinnaker handling in a lovely F4 from the South at high tide for about an hour.
The evening encouraged a camp fire until another downpour drove us to our respective tents for a slightly earlier night than planned.
