Wednesday evening Andy, Vanessa, Paul and Ginny arrived Thursday there was sailing… Roy went out in a Laser for 10 minutes and came back unfulfilled; it not being windy enough. The forecast and the lived experience were aligned, a base wind of F4 with lumps of F6, no rain but no sun either. Mel, Mike, Bill, Sally, Paul, Ginny and Phoebe were led by Andy and Vanessa on a walk from the Bankes Arms to Agglestone Rock and Ballard Down and back to the pub for chips and a drink. Meanwhile Debbie and Morgan arrived and mended many things. We settled down in the evening with BBQs which turned into wood fires.
