Details for members in the private area for the Milford Camp
The Milford Haven site is new to most of our members, but we have been there before, last in 1998. The site is a large field next to a gravel beach and is within the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park. Access to the site is via a private track from the village of Cosheston. The field is partly sloping with a fairly steep, like Helford, slope downward immediately upon entry to the field, but flattens out for a large area for camping where it borders the beach. The picture below is 1998 camp, looking down river from the gate entry to the field.

The National Park is blessed with amazing coastal and inland scenery and the sailing is marked by the substantial tidal range along with the associated tidal movements and with the contrasting commercial docks and oil industry, surrounded by amazing scenery and beautiful beaches and up river, stunning tidal creeks and tributaries, the latter all accessible by boat when the tide is in.

Pembroke Dock is the nearest town, about a 20 min drive out from site. There is a local pub within easy walking distance, in Cosheston.

A full Camp briefing document, with directions and a provisional camp programme will be issued in July, to all members who have booked.
