The post Christmas land ‘cruise’ was held at the beginning of the year

Nearly 20 members turned out for a gentle post Christmas walk – accompanied by what appeared (at first) to be a similar number of canine ‘members’. Closer inspection revealed that there were probably only 5 or 6 of the latter – it was just that they seemed to be in several places at once!

The walk was a basically a perambulation of Frensham Little Pond, starting from the very

popular café and climbing up to the ridge (with an excellent view of the Great Pond) before descending to complete the circuit.

It was great to get out after the Christmas break and to meet up with club members. As with most of these walks, it was an excellent opportunity to exchange news and to make tentative plans for the coming season. Twenty members sounds a lot but we were well spaced out given we were in the grip of Covid.
