Chichester Camp Day 2

The weather for Coronation Day will be well known across the lands as raining in the South of England.

We sat under Adri’s awning and experienced the outdoor reality of the heavy rain, we made paper boats, Adri made popcorn, Steph brought Chocolates, we handsomely coped.

None could be bothered to sail until about 2pm when the back edge of the rain gave way to drizzle, dry, overcast and occasional heavy showers. The forecast F2-3 was more like a F4 with gusts under the rain clouds likely so we again sailed to East Head for a short moment, then onto Hayling for hot beverage, and then home.

The weather was still overcast in the evening and a bit drizzly. I think we made the best of a poor forecast.

Three boats sailed; Steve & Mel & Edmund, Simon & Stephen & Adri, and Jeremy in his Wayfarer with Steph and Alan.
Edmund on the helm, broad reaching past the Winner
Adri and Stephen (and Simon, hidden).
