Campsite visitors rules

1. Any charges that would occur to all sailing participants outwith Cody camping charges (such as harbour dues or site access fees) need to be paid by each individual participant irrespective of their accommodation plans.

2. A club member with their own boat staying off site can join camp sails for free and keep their boat on the field or foreshore for the duration of their stay for free, although they remain fully responsible for the safety and security of their own boat while it is in said locations whether they are on the field or away from it. If a site access fee or harbour due is included in the camping charge for campers then the off site participant will need to pay the harbour dues and/or site access fee as required.

3. A club member of the dinghy section who has towed a club dinghy to a camp but is staying off site can do the same as above – noting that responsibility for the safety and security of the club boat whilst they are off site must be agreed at all times with other club members who are on site.

4. Guests of club members who are staying off site (with or without the club member) can join camp day sails for free- subject to 1. above and all the other rules regarding guest of members published in the camp joining instructions.

(5. Existing club rules for non-dinghy section members to use club boats remain unchanged and are separate to the on or off site accommodation debate.)
