The huge low pressure sitting south of Iceland had a chilling effect on the plans to sail to Coverack; at the appointed time of departure the visibility was poor due to the first warm front of the day. The long sail was abandoned.
Local sailing was available in the afternoon but the 1pm low tide made it a land day for most of the day.
It’s now drizzling ahead of the second warm front of the day which the rain radar predicts will drop rain upon us overnight.
