Poole Day 2 Sunday

The forecast this morning included a Force 6 and the wind experienced over the field was F4 with blocks of F5 when the bands of low cloud came over.

Simon, Matt and Harry took the club boat, Mel, Steve and Camilla in the Trio and Roy and Jenny in the reefed 2k took to the water about 8:30. Roy and Jenny sailed around the islands for a good while.

The Trios were sailing for only 25 minutes in the strong gusty winds.

The afternoon was taken up with a long walk to Studland and back via the D-Day bunkers. We had a communal BBQ and camp fire and the new record of 6 marshmallow skins from a stand sized marshmallow was set. The sticky gauntlet has been dropped.
