Tamar Camp day 9

We resolved to sail because there was a hint of wind in the many conflicting forecasts, and with almost full sun with a hint of high level cloud a sea breeze was expected.
We breakfasted at the café and pushed off at 12:30 to take the last couple of hours of ebb to Cremyl. The beat all the way had enough wind to drive the GP with Simon and the Trio with Mel and Steve comfortably and it was steady enough to sit on the thwarts and balance smoothly.
We made Cremyl at 14:30 and had lunch; Simon cooked lunch on his galley and Mel and Steve got food from the pub.
The return was fast, 75 minutes saw us at Cargreen and then the sea breeze stopped and the rowing fro the last half mile saw us safely home.
We enjoyed a local cinema event in a local village hall in the evening.
