The Thursday evening had grace rain in the forecast but the rain radar suggested that the rain would skirt Chichester harbour and so one family camped on Thursday evening and repaired to the Blue Bell PH in Emsworth for some lovely dinner.
Friday was a lovely day, F4-5 and sunny intervals and enough boats and crew arrived by 3pm for a late sail under reef to East Head and Hayling Island in a Southerly wind which was steady in direction and strength. Two Comet Trios with Mel & Steve, Simon, Adri & Stephen. We made bbq in the evening and some joined in with other peoples parties.
